The Car Agents along with Townhouse Creative have launched an iBeacons location based app for use within the luxury car showroom in Hitchin, UK. Visitors are able to leave their vehicles at the Car Spa and relax in the Car Bar or walk around the showroom. The Car Agents app will push via Bluetooth Low Energy and iBeacons information about the vehicle they are standing next to including mileage, registration, option extras and price. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
